Michael Turenne is a software engineer and designer who graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2017. His work currently centers on physical computing and software development with a focus on user interface design. From Spring 2016 until Spring 2017, Turenne was an elected officer of Decode, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s arts and technology student organization. As an officer he maintained its social media operations and worked to foster engagement in arts and technology on campus. In the future he plans to continue incorporating physical computing and design philosophies into his explorations of computer interface design. Turenne is currently employed as a software developer for Quad/Graphics.
