Michael Turenne is a software engineer and designer who graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2017. From Spring 2016 until Spring 2017, Turenne was an elected officer of Decode, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s arts and technology student organization. As an officer he maintained its social media operations and worked to foster engagement in arts and technology on campus. After university, he moved to California and worked as a software engineer for the Google Analytics frontend team. His work now centers on XR developement with a focus on user interface design. Turenne is currently on assignment at Meta as an XR prototyper.
